Verifon ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We collect your email address when you sign up. We collect the phone number assigned to your session and the SMS messages received on that number in order to display them to you. If you subscribe, payment is processed entirely by Stripe — we never store your card details.
We use your email to associate your account with your assigned number and to send essential service communications. SMS message content is displayed to you in real time and is not stored beyond your active session unless you maintain a paid subscription.
We do not sell your individually identifiable personal data. However, we may share aggregated and anonymised usage data (for example: "40% of users are between 25–34 years old and use the service for business purposes") with third-party market research partners, analytics providers, and advertisers. This data cannot be used to identify you individually.
By accepting our Terms of Service, you explicitly consent to this use of your anonymised data. This is how Verifon is able to offer free access to the service.
Session data is deleted when a number expires or is released from the pool. Subscription data is retained while your subscription is active and for up to 30 days after cancellation.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@verifon.io. We will process your request within 30 days.
We use your browser's localStorage to maintain your session on the device you used to sign up. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics scripts.
We use HTTPS, HTTP security headers (via Helmet.js), input validation, and rate limiting to protect your data. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@verifon.io.
